Marina Adair is a true visionary as to what romance novels are all about! Marina writes with deep purpose on the true essence of love and romance.

Another romantic, sexy installment to the St. Helena series
Oh, how I've missed St. Helena and its quirky cast of characters. I loved the second installment of the Heroes of St. Helena series. Emi and Dax hook up at a friend's wedding thinking it will be a one night stand. She is working towards her dream of opening a food truck and winning a big national competition. She doesn't need to be distracted by a man. Dax is an army ranger who comes back to his hometown to recover from a career ending injury during his last tour. He doesn't want any complications that would prevent him from leaving town as soon as the doctor clears him. While they try to fight their chemistry, we see their relationships develop with the endearing secondary characters, most notably Emi's sister Violet and Dax's brothers. The characters are well developed, their struggles feel real, the storyline is believable, and the pacing has a great flow. While this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend both the St. Helena Vineyard series and the Heroes of St. Helena series.
