Things that make u go HMMMMM?
At first I was kind of annoyed with the narrator's voice and the music. Once I stop nodding and yawning (at work...LOL) it had me saying HMMM!! The more I listen I started thinking bout who's REEAAALLY out there among us?? HMMMMM??
Neverwhere (2007 author's preferred version)
I listen to a lot of audio books. The story in this one is terrific and something I wouldn't have imagined myself. But more, the author's skill in narrating it by changing voices and putting pauses in at *just the right places* where he intended them when he wrote Neverwhere-- well, I just have NEVER heard a better reading of a book.
Best book I've heard in a long time!
The story is refreshingly original and superbly told. Neil Gaiman is a tremendous narrator as well as a gifted author. This book will not leave you disappointed.
