Stephenie Meyer + Audiobooks = not as great as you'd expect
As soon as I got my hands on Twilight (I begged my dad for more than an hour to take me to Borders at 9 pm and bought it using my own money, which I hardly ever spend) I read literally from cover to cover, until I was finished the next day. I got cranky when someone interrupted me. I was completely addicted to the book, and when it was over, I knew I just had to get New Moon right away--even if I had to spend 35 bucks on itunes for it. But then, when I hit the preview button, I was immediately... annoyed with the narrator. Since the book is in first person, I expected the narrator to sound like Bella, but she didn't sound like I imagined at all and the music in the background distracted me from what she was saying. And she talks so slow... I wouldn't be able to stand it. So, DON'T waste your money on the audiobook. The story itself is worth $35, but not the way it is presented in this version.
This is an amazing book. Just make sure you read the first book "Twilight" or it will be totally confusing. I am not into scifi or fantasy story lines, but this book makes vampires and werewolves seem incredibly real. You will be hooked.
