No one can see him, no one can hear him, and no one, except his killer, knows he still exists. Freed from his body, True embarks on a quest to find his killer and discover why and how he has managed to survive.
As he closes in on his murderer, True discovers that even the very people he loved and trusted have betrayed him. He meets his killer, a strange and sinister figure who can also leave his body at will.

An epic and deadly battle ensues between True and a seemingly unstoppable and hideous serial killer - a man now intent on even more murders, including True's wife and child.

harmny ,

fascinating study of life beyond life

A deep, rich journey into out-of-body concepts, death and the states in between. There is no oblivion in James Herbert's world of Nobody True. Instead, life is depicted as a journey that does not end with the body's destruction. Horror is mingled with a wondrous journey into the beyond. New dimensions are explored as the main protagonist journeys beyond the bounds of physical existence, to find there is a lot more to life than would appear on the surface. Herbert creates a marvelous adventure, filled with love, hate, and horror. Fear of death is eradicated, and instead the true horror turns out to be the darkness of the human soul, rather than the physical threats we ordinarily fear. Contrastingly, love is a powerful force for good in life as painted by Herbert, overcoming incredible odds, and triumphing in the end. True wisdom turned out to be inextricably linked to an acceptance of life in all its myriad forms. Quite a masterpiece, well told in simple language, and beautifully narrated by Jonathan Firth. The horror itself is terrifying and troubling to the core. Not to be missed! WIll leave a deep impression, no doubt.
