Awesome
A really good book. The author is very knowledgeable and has done a fantastic job of selecting and interviewing these underground (mostly) surfers, and capturing the characters and an era in surfing that no longer exists. Hearing these stories from the surfers themselves brings to life the North Shore ofOahu from the 1960s through the early 1980s. This is a special book about some north shore legends. If you’re interested in surfing history you should read this book.
