November 9 (Unabridged)
Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us, It Ends with Us, and All Your Perfects returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?
LOVED this book. Slow to start, but great plot.
Couldn’t stop listening to this book!
This book was really something else.
While some aspects were predictable, I was pleasantly surprised for the twists it had… and loved how much it makes you feel for both of the main character in this. You feel for Fallon and everything she goes through, and then also deeply for Ben and everything he goes through… I shed sad tears, and happy tears…
A great example of wonderful writing, as well as audio.
Female audio voice drove me crazy
I love Colleen Hoover & this is probably my least favorite of all of them. Still enjoyable but her others are better. The female voice for this book in particular drove me up the wall. LOL. I checked multiple times to make sure it was at normal play speed because she speaks so slowly
