So good
It’s a great book. I’d recommend it for anyone above the age of 10. There are some pretty serious lessons and happenings in the saga, but I love it.
Wingfeather Saga
Three children, boy 10YO, girls 8YO and 7YO have immensely enjoyed Book 1. Now we are beginning Book 2. Our older two have read all 4 of the books, but the vocabulary is a bit over our youngest’s level. So we are enjoying the audio format for her sake.
Incredible book that begs for another..
I never leave reviews, so that’s how you know this book is something special. The recitation of the book is such a treat because the reader has a wide collection of accents that paint a vivid picture of each character! The descriptive writing style is unlike any I’ve ever read, as it allowed me to fully visualize each scene. Many mornings and nights I found myself awe struck at the poetic swirl of animation, humor, or depth in every line.
Mind you I am a 30 something year old woman, but even my 12-year-old son was eagerly hanging on every word.
I have already recommended this saga to multiple friends as a way to connect with their kids and stimulate their imaginations!
There should definitely be a movie made of the Wingfeather Saga, but reading it was just as wonderful, if not better!
