Publisher Description
Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion and a life-long committed Darwinist, abridges and reads this special audio version of Charles Darwin's famous book. A literally world-changing book, Darwin put forward the anti-religious and scientific idea that humans in fact evolved over millions of generations from animals, starting with fish, all the way up through the ranks to apes, then to our current form.
Dawkin's passion for his subject and hero are clear and exciting for listeners, who, whatever their religious or scientific views, will be intrigued and captivated by this involving production of arguably one of the most important books of all time.

The Taboo Facts of Existence
Vastly necessary in educational communities and unfortunately underrated by those who have admittedly not read it in its entirety, The Origin of Species stimulates the imagination while bringing revelation to to the many mysteries that the beautiful world around us displays.
A must-read in its own right, we are further privileged to have the impeccably articulate and inspirational Professor Dawkins narrate the findings of this grand discovery in human history.
A piece of the puzzle
After reading Greg Graffin's "Anarchy Evolution," this was a must read; however, it's not such an easy read for me. As a new(ish) reader, I get caught up in the language and vast detail. I got through a few pages of this book before becoming distracted by anything shiny and moving around me. I'm happy that this is available audibly!
NOT COMPLETE
If you want to read the whole thing, DON’T GET IT!! I have the book and I wanted to be able to listen as well, but they do NOT match up. Save your money!
