One Basket

One Basket is a collection of several short stories by Edna Ferber. Most of them are about common men and women and the challenges they face in their daily lives. Particularly the women are often at the vanguard of events, accompanied by their desires and fears. Strengths and weaknesses are brought to loving life in a wonderful way of prose and tone!
