The second book in Lauren Oliver’s remarkable New York Times bestselling trilogy about forbidden love, revolution, and the power to choose.
In this electrifying follow-up to Delirium, Lena is on a dangerous course that takes her through the unregulated Wilds and into the heart of a growing resistance movement. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.
I don't know yet
I loved the first one. And I love the idea of never forgetting her old love in the beginning. But I don't know if I like Julian/Lena or not. Because I absolutely LOVED Alex!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like the same voice reading.
I Hated the now/then/now/then time jumps. It’s not consistent with the previous writing style of the first book.
...and the way the audiobook voice now says “Hahna.” The first one pronounced it “Hannah.”
LOVE IT SO MUCH
This book made me cry so much. I'm usually a emotional girl but this made me cry even more. It made me see that the person you love can't be chosen for you. That you just can tell that you love them and that you would do anything for them. I would hate if I had to take a test to see who I would have to get married to and that I would be forced to love someone I really don't love. Also Lauren gave amazing descriptions of the characters like Lena and Hannah and Alex. Hilarious sayings that Hannah and Alex say. Especially the one of where Alex tells Lena in the first book about how he used to watch Hannah and her run and try to high- five the statue and they never could. Also another one is in the first book where Alex tells Lena that he wrote letters to her and put them in the statues fist. Also very romantic in the first book when they're at the beach and they swim and have the race in the water. Loved their first kiss:):):)!!!!
