APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
If you have a hard time staying focused and in the moment, you’re not alone—and there’s something you can do about it. Psychologist and neuroscientist Amishi P. Jha has consulted everyone from competitive athletes to military leaders on the art and science of paying better attention, and she’s boiled her advice down to one thing that consistently helps: daily meditation practices. In this engaging and helpful audiobook, Jha shares practical mindfulness techniques that are proven to help keep your mental whiteboard organized and focused. Peak Mind lays out the science of meditation techniques with relatable clarity that dispenses with both jargon and woo-woo, and narrator Xe Sands makes the material even easier to absorb with her warm, friendly delivery. If you’ve been feeling scattered, forgetful, and in over your head lately, we recommend listening to Peak Mind.

Thank you!
Great book. I appreciate the scientific approach to meditation and how wonderfully written the book was. You’ll definitely feel motivated to start meditating if you’re new to the practice.
Great information, tough to listen through.
I found this topic highly interesting and have listened to Amishi P. Jha previously discuss her book so I was really looking forward to the full audio version. However, the reader’s voice is something I can’t get over. Her specific way of talking I’m sure appeals to some, but I’d highly recommend listening to some sound bites before committing to purchase. I’m finding it very difficult to get through because her voice is ruins it for me! I wish Amishi would have read the book herself. Even if she wasn’t any better, it would have at least been authentic.
