Not one or Ms. Norton better efforts
I am 45 year fan of Andre Norton. I have most of her works, and I have to say this one is one of the very few that I really don't care for. It is sort of a real lame land that time forgot theme. I have a hard copy of this book and the only reason I have it is because is gets me closer to having a complete collection. Go ahead and purchase it, it is cheap enough but if you are starting out with Andre Norton, start with the The Lord of Thunder, The Time trader books from the 1950's, or the later Witch World Series.
