Publisher Description

Percy will have to fulfill three quests in order to get the necessary three letters of recommendation from Mount Olympus for college. The first quest is to help Zeus’s cup-bearer retrieve his goblet before it falls into the wrong hands. Can Percy, Grover, and Annabeth find it in time? Readers new to Percy Jackson (you can enjoy this book as a standalone) and fans who have been awaiting this reunion for more than a decade will delight equally in this latest hilarious take on Greek mythology.
Customer Reviews
very nice
the chalice of the gods was great. slayed. the book was kinda uneventful, unlike the pjo series and the HoO. muah. cant wait for Wrath of the Triple Goddess!

It felt like the original series
I know this takes place after the Heroes of Olympus but this takes place before the Trials of Apollo and it has Percy, Annabeth and Grover going on a quest like they did in the first book.
One thing I love about this book is that strengthens the relationship between Percy and Annabeth.
I also love knowing what Percy had to do to and will have to do to get into New Rome University with Annabeth.
For Percy Jackson fans, I highly recommend this book
Concern about the book’s translation
The story’s plot was okay; but the blatant Disney and other tv/movie work’s references, such as one of the characters saying they want to spend their time with there child binging WandaVision, and more political jabs at the male characters being second rate to the female characters. Lead me to think im not actually listening to a one to one translation of the actual novel but being subjected to hear the publisher’s opinionated rendition version of the story.
