Publisher Description
From cop-turned-comic Eric Tansey, a hilarious and humanizing portrait of law enforcement for fans of Walk the Blue Line and You Can’t Make This Stuff Up.
Eric Tansey, a former Army scout and Special Operations military veteran, joined the police force with a ton of unrealistic expectations. The reality of the job knocked him down and changed his perspective on everything.
Always a magnet for uncanny, wild situations, Tansey reveals exactly what it’s like to deal with everyday life as a police officer—from trying to tackle naked suspects to pepper spraying yourself in the face, from dealing with an angry mob to coaxing suicidal subjects off a bridge, an uncut version of everything is included.
Going behind the badge to bring the public a real understanding of the job, Pig Latin hopes to help inspire sympathy rather than condemnation and to encourage current law enforcement with the knowledge that they are not alone in their mistakes, their fear, and their experience on the job.

One of the Funniest and Realest Books I’ve Ever Read!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a former police officer, I didn’t expect to laugh this hard but Pig Latin had me literally laughing out loud. Tansey captures the Crazy, unbelievable things that happen out on patrol in a way only a cop could.
I ended up buying the audiobook too, and that’s absolutely the best way to take it in. He reads it himself and sounds like a pro! His timing and delivery make it even funnier. Some stories are funny in a scary way he comes close to danger or death, yet somehow you’re still laughing.
This book gives a true inside look at what officers face every day and the humor that keeps them going. If you’ve been a Cop or not, you’re going to love this Book. Five stars!

Incredible- with many layers!
A truly amazing book. Hilarious, while at the same time, you get to learn many different angles of compassion, warrior mindset, and strength. Eric does a fantastic job painting a picture of a front row seat to the action. Need more cops like him. Great work, Eric!
