Good story
The author would surely have polished this book before it was released had he lived. Still it is a fascinating story from a rich period in new world history. Very enjoyable.
My first pirate book
I have not read too much about piracy outside of a few blurbs In textbooks and I was not disappointed
What do you do with a drunken sailor?
It seems Mr. Chrichton was lost on this one, the plot went one way only to take another, and another, and another. None seemed to belong at any point. This is the documentary of a wondering mind. A book to meet a deadline. Not bad, just, disjointed.
