Wonderful! I love Russ and Nina!
Not Interesting Enough
The story started well, but the majority of the rest of the book was too repetitive and unrealistic. The plot of the forbidden relationship dragged on too much when it was an easy fix. Personally, a better story would have been how navigating the relationship while working together affected the relationship, leaning on potential jealousy, the relationship dynamic as it related to professional vs personal behavior, etc. Nina needed to stand up for her bag, ride out the contract, then get back to her relationship. It was too “lovesick” dependent for my taste.
