Like Old Time Radio Plays

I have been enjoying listening to the POIROT’S FINEST CASES. Each one is a play acted by wonderful voice actors (including John Moffat who plays “Poirot,” he sounds a lot like actor David Suchet who portrayed the detective on TV) and has complete incidental noises like footsteps, telephones ringing, train whistles, birds, etc., so it really brings the action to life in the imagination.

This must’ve been what it was like when people listened to radio broadcasts, before television took over, and the BBC has done a terrific job.

Each book has been rewritten in play format so it isn’t just someone reading the book out loud.

I’ve been a fan of the movies and TV shows of Agatha Christie’s characters Poirot and Miss Marple and these stories are wonderful to listen to before bed.

I just purchased the other Poirot’s Finest and I hope BBC will do one like this with the Marple stories.

Not user friendly

You’ll have no idea which book you are listening to until you play the track. It would be nice for there to be some sort of title or description letting you know where the titles begin.
