Linda Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval have moved to the top of the advertising industry by following a simple but powerful philosophy: it pays to be nice.
While so many companies encourage a dog-eat-dog mentality, The Kaplan Thaler Group has succeeded through chocolate and flowers.
In The Power of Nice, through their own experiences and the stories of other people and businesses, they demonstrate why, contrary to conventional wisdom, nice people finish first.

Short and sweet, this one sends a great message.
Definately a must read for times like this when people are far too stressed and too worried about their own siuations to dispense the kindness to others that comes back around in both business and life.
What character are you in others movies?
This book is good for people who have anger issues, and outbursts on their family/friends/coworkers. It gives alot of perspectives to show you how to handle certain situations just by being nice. It's worth the $7 audio. You can listen to this easily running, in the car, at work (only if you won't get bugged alot while at work), or at home. : )
