This was my first time with the ex-boyfriends Dad Trope. It was actually written really well. I fell in love with Emerson along with Charlie. I especially loved how he really tried to put Beau first and was a great Dad. There were strong emotions, steamy scenes and overall great writing!

Although not duet style Jack and Vivienne were great narrators really bring the words to life!

It doesn’t get much into the actual praise. It mostly focuses on their relationship which isn’t a bad thing but the whole big stressor of the relationship solely revolves around Emerson being Beau’s dad and it gets old after a while.

Sara Cate does it again, and pens another fabulous romance novel set in her Salacious Players’ Club series. I am loving this series, each book is just as amazing and enjoyable as the next and I recommend them all. This second book is Garrett and Mia’s story, a step-brother and step-sister who get under each other’s skin. Mia always had a crush on Garrett, but he never gave her a second thought. Running a kink club is perfect for Garrett, a voyeur and one of the club owners. He does his part by looking for ways to keep things fresh and the members entertained. While scrolling online, he discovers a familiar face working as a cam girl, his step-sister Mia. Intrigued by what he sees, he creates an account for more content, and it is a start of an online relationship under a different name. The two chat and interact and he finally realizes there is more to Mia than he thought. It was time for him to make a visit home where he gets to see in person. I’d like to say they hit it off, but that would be too easy. The chemistry between them is explosive, and it is finally dawning on him, it was all a facade, a way to hide her feelings for him. I loved the complexity of these characters, especially Garrett who battles with his inner demons, some that take him down. Mia fought her insecurities, and it turned her into a strong, confident woman. This wonderfully written and plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Sara Cate, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the terrific narration, Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa are talented voice artists and entertaining storytellers. They did an amazing job portraying the characters, understanding them fully and giving each a fitting and believable voice. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. Thank you for another top-notch performance and fabulous listen.
