Kiss him, sleep with him, but don’t ever fall in love with him.

The first time Wes Archer steps into Jack of Clubs, an exclusive London pleasure club, he’s completely confident he can heed the tried-and-true advice about becoming an escort. Wes gives himself away for free with casual hookups all the time. Why not make some cash doing what he already loves? And cash is something he desperately needs. His brother’s gambling addiction has taken their family’s home, saddled Wes with insurmountable debts, and compromised his chances for finishing his degree.

Accepting an offer to spend a few hours of fun with a rich bloke will be a simple business transaction, right?

Wrong.

Wes’s first client is Cormac Reilly. The handsome billionaire is grumpy, funny, and commanding in a way that unlocks desires Wes never knew he had. Cormac is icily determined to keep their arrangement strictly business, but that doesn’t stop Wes from finding him fascinating.

As their one-night contract becomes something much more, Wes can’t deny he’s falling for his client. He knows he’s flouting all the rules, but breaking down Cormac’s barriers is an irresistible challenge, and his reward might be the best prize of all — love.

From bestselling author Lily Morton comes a passionate love story set in London and Paris about two astonishingly different men and one very pretty mess.

A Splendidly Delightful Story & Listen🎧

Lily Morton does it again, penning another fabulous novel, a MM romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. Morton’s writing style and way with words are incredible, words that flow naturally, including the witty dialogue and banter. Wes Archer is in financial ruin, thanks to his brother, and he needs to come up with the money to attend his final year at university and a place to live. Unexpectedly, it is one of his rival schoolmates who comes to his rescue, not just giving him a place to stay but tips on how he could make money, good money. Wes does not have many options, so becoming an escort at an exclusive club is his best option, for continuing at uni and for digging himself out of debt. He thinks it won’t be too difficult of a job, and Julian gives him tips and rules to follow, except Wes is not very good at following them. Cormac Reilly likes all new things, and when he saw Wes, he wanted him, and Wes agreed to go to him. Cormac takes to Wes immediately, and thinking he blew it and it would be a one and done, it surprised Wes he wanted to see him again. I enjoyed watching these two interact, build a new relationship, and see it morph into something so much more. As much as Cormac tries to distance himself and keep it as a business transaction, Wes breaks through the ice wall surrounding his heart. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all plays out, with the perfect balance of drama, light angst, humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character depth, growth and development. Lily Morton, thank you for another splendidly wonderful story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Joel Leslie does an amazing job voicing these characters and delivering a perfect portrayal of each, as if the roles were custom made for him to perform. He was a natural in every role, and I loved his take on the two leads, Cormac and Wes, embodying their personalities completely. As usual, he is fantastic with the witty dialogue and banter, landing the humor and snark effortlessly. He is a versatile voice artist and his captivating performance keeps you glued to the story. Joe Leslie is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.
