Amazing Story & Narration🎧 A Twisted Mind-Blow!

Wow, I was completely blown away by this book, my first Jen Stevens book—a gripping, dark, and twisted romantic suspense that kept me hooked until the very end, and that ending—mind blown! I recommend going into this book knowing as little as possible and just go along for the ride and watch everything unfold. The story opens with a wild scene, and I still have questions about what really went down with Jovie, her mother and her boyfriend and what they were up to. She is away from them starting over, with a new job and place to live, a place owned by Lancaster which brings Bash into her life, her stalker. Sebastian “Bash” Lancaster is out on a mission, a mission of vengeance and mayhem, but Jovie was in his way. Except he welcomed her in his way, because she became his obsession. This is an intriguing story with a lot of elements to it, a lot more to learn and to come. I need to know what that secret society is all about and what is Bash’s father involved in and where does Jovie’s ex fit in all this. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic and I am looking forward to getting answers and what comes next. Jen Stevens, thank you for this thrilling and thought-provoking story and the wild ride.

🎧📚🎧  Hannah Chiclana and Greg Salinas did an outstanding job bringing these characters to life, knowing who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting. They were convincing in every role, embodying their character’s personality completely, with Salinas nailing it as Bash, from his obsessive and sometimes psychotic demeanor to his caring side. Chiclana was just as amazing as Jovie, showcasing every aspect of her personality too, from her insecurities and vulnerabilities to her determination. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary/side characters too. They set the right tone for the story, conveyed all the characters’ emotions in their performance, making you feel each one. These two made a fantastic team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that keeps you glued to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
