I’m not entirely sure what I just read, but it certainly was a trip. As a person raised Catholic, I laughed at more of this than I was probably supposed to, especially the “ancient booth of death” (a grew up in a church where it was more a hidden closet of death). Legit, that is a GREAT term for those things. There were definitely a ton of communication issues. I feel like so much of the pain could have been avoided if they had just used their words outside the bedroom. There were points I wanted Tyler to shut up inside his head and act already, but at least he got there in the end.

I love reading smut, seriously. But I’ve never had a book make me clutch my pearls like this one. Father Bell was something else. The alter, the oil, the sanctuary…nothing is sacred, or is it? Sex and spirituality, lust, guilt, and shame…this is a wild ride. 5/5

It was the perfect balance between God and kink which is very hard to do. There was so much healing and understanding in this book. Overall, it was just beautiful, funny and well done.
