There are many rules a priest can't break. A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.
I've always been good at following rules.
Until she came. Then I learned new rules.
My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I'm 29 years old. Six months ago I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again. I am a priest, and this is my confession.
Priest is a full-length stand-alone with an HEA. For mature audiences only.

I’m not entirely sure what I just read, but it certainly was a trip. As a person raised Catholic, I laughed at more of this than I was probably supposed to, especially the “ancient booth of death” (a grew up in a church where it was more a hidden closet of death). Legit, that is a GREAT term for those things. There were definitely a ton of communication issues. I feel like so much of the pain could have been avoided if they had just used their words outside the bedroom. There were points I wanted Tyler to shut up inside his head and act already, but at least he got there in the end.

This entire book had me on the edge of my seat clutching my pearls!! This was a perfect balance between the Holy and wildly unholy!! I wish I could go back and read this AGAIN for the first time! I will never look at a confessional the same lol.
In shock
I love reading smut, seriously. But I’ve never had a book make me clutch my pearls like this one. Father Bell was something else. The alter, the oil, the sanctuary…nothing is sacred, or is it? Sex and spirituality, lust, guilt, and shame…this is a wild ride. 5/5
