Created when they intermingled with demons, the dark elves who rule over the fae of Sinaryos have come to rely on humans to keep their race alive. After avoiding this obligation for too long, the time has come for him to take a harem and prove that he's capable of continuing his family's bloodline and ensuring their control of the throne. But underneath his cool and calm exterior, Fallon secretly yearns for a much different life than the one he was born into.
Novi Navarro is a working-class barmaid who's used to running her tavern and running her mouth. When she gets assigned to Prince Fallon's harem by mistake, she thinks it's a complete joke. But when members of the Blackwood Court discover her true identity, she quickly learns that she must beat them at their game . . . or die.

I stumbled upon Emigh Cannaday years ago...a series of Elven fantasy that drew me in with the story of Talvi. I embraced this new genre wholeheartedly, chewing through each new book as they were released.
Then, not wanting to start on a new story, I gave in and decided to read Novi and Fallon’s story. I was instantly won over by Novi, her snarky character strangely relatable and entirely lovable. As I melted into their strange love story, she bridged the two stories in such a mysterious yet exciting way.
I dived into each new chapter, fighting off sleep and the real world now. I couldn’t wait to read more.
Emigh is an enchanting storyteller. She brings me into a world I now cherish. Her books are electric, twisting and turning, while keeping her readers mesmerized. Her characters are layered in vivid intrigue. Their stories complicated enough to be fun, sparking laughter and emotions on their adventures.
I look forward to her next book......
