Raggedy Ann Stories

Raggedy Ann Stories by Johnny Gruelle is a series of illustrated books written for young children. Raggedy Ann is a rag doll with red wool for hair and a pointy nose. The character was first created as a doll and then introduced to the public in 1918 in this very book. A sequel, Raggedy Andy Stories, introduced the personality of her brother, Raggedy Andy, dressed in a sailor suit and hat.
