Not good at all
I really wanted this book to be interesting and take me to a world I've never seen/heard before. What it is...is part spy novel/part pro-christian religious propaganda. I started thinking the catholic church published it. Loved the narrator though. He also did The Company.
Disjointed and Underdeveloped Plot Line
I was highly disappointed in this book. Although I think the basic concept of the story was creative and intriguing, the plot line fell short of living up to its potential and often felt disjointed. The characters also had a great deal of potential but did not seem fully developed, as though we were only casual bystanders rather then in the middle of the action and thoughts of these characters. I think it could have been a great book, but needed more development and perhaps a bit more prompting from the editors for revisions before they took it to print.
Dreadful
A dreadful piece of fiction. It lacks a coherant plot and sympathetic characters. Take a bunch of third rate conspiracy theories, mash them together, and season with the latest terrorist plots and voila!, heartburn and headache.
