Days after winning OASIS founder James Halliday’s contest, Wade Watts makes a discovery that changes everything.

Hidden within Halliday’s vaults, waiting for his heir to find, lies a technological advancement that will once again change the world and make the OASIS a thousand times more wondrous—and addictive—than even Wade dreamed possible.
With it comes a new riddle, and a new quest—a last Easter egg from Halliday, hinting at a mysterious prize.
And an unexpected, impossibly powerful, and dangerous new rival awaits, one who’ll kill millions to get what he wants.
Wade’s life and the future of the OASIS are again at stake, but this time the fate of humanity also hangs in the balance.
Lovingly nostalgic and wildly original as only Ernest Cline could conceive it, Ready Player Two takes us on another imaginative, fun, action-packed adventure through his beloved virtual universe, and jolts us thrillingly into the future once again.

So it’s Over?

I want to say that I actually bought the paperback version of this book when it originally released. I did read Ready Player One on Paperback years ago and I couldn’t put it down. But, it was one of those moments where I didn’t necessarily have the time or space to sit down and read the book and enjoy it like I wanted. So I decided to get the audiobook. Which was great and very enjoyable and actually made me very happy to finally be able to continue on in this universe. I loved the journey. The details, and honestly how much you could tell Parzival lost a bit of himself after becoming the heir. He wasn’t just king of the world and truly needed others help. I did not expect this book to be about an AI villain, yet am so happy it was!!!!! And hoooooray to Nolan finally getting hit right in the third eye. Also, how Anorak truly wasn’t as smart as he made himself to be. He had flaws, which was true to how Halliday programmed and deprogrammed him. Why only 4 stars you may be wondering? When really I give this about a 4.5/4.7… the only problem I had was THE ENDING. I expected this world to become a whole universe!!! For a possibility of third and fourth maybe fifth books. But, from your ending you clearly made it so that this series is over!!! Parzival just stays on earth and grows up and has a family and the AI copies just travel off into the universe never to be heard from again? I just dived into this beautiful and adventurous and funny story and now it’s just over!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 man… it was good while it lasted huh… hoping a movie comes out of this and that the prince endeavor actually makes it to the big screen 😂😂💕

Love It Completely

This book may not be as action packed as the first, but it is still a good read. It shows some amazing development in many of the characters and it shows a more realistic take on what winning a ton of money might look like. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine life doesn’t always get better with money. Definitely should read it at least once, but that’s for you to decide.

It was Terrible....

I liked the first book and really wished this would of been better. There are so many bad things I could say about this book but some of them would be considered spoilers but what I can say is Character development is very bad to the point I started you dislike the characters, The characters go from awesome adventures we grown to love to sad mentally unstable people who really need professional help. It takes forever for the real story to start, then it was a mountain of diarrhea till the end. Every action, item, person, and thing has an extra in-depth description to the point I feel like just shut up and just tell the story. It got so bad that I started skipping pages just to get through some parts.
