Disappointing and drawn out
I LOVE all of the Valdemar series- save this one! The last two-three books could easily have been combined- whole passages copied word for word from the first ones!!! To the point of annoying! The characters do not have the depth they usually do, nor is the crown nearly as respected, feared or competent as usual either. Disappointing!! I expected better from ML... Read the spoilers and save yourself $60 for the last 3
