I really liked this book at times more than 5 stars.
I like that our brilliant author really humanized so much of this theatrical story.
I loved the emphasis on family and it was so relatable.
This book also moved me To tears, realizing once more the harsh realities and cruel injustices black people lived and still live on the daily!
I want more of these well balanced, beautiful written books… thank you so much Kennedy. ❤️👍🏼🙏
