Good read but needs more music
I really enjoyed listening to this book! The narrator had such a nice voice especially when doing Shang’s voice. I wasn’t too much or forced when doing his voice. I loved that Mulan and Shang had more time to interact together and genuinely get to know each other. My all time favorite parts of the book is it took certain lines and senses from the movie and incorporated into the book!! As well as the world build of the underworld and the different floors they went through. I did get a little bored in the middle of the story but as it got closer to the end it started picking up again. Though I do wish there was more music portions throughout the story like for certain fighting scenes or when Mulan was in the reflection room. Rather only playing it for the intro and outro of the book. All in all, I really loved this version of Mulan, definitely recommend reading/ listening this book from this series!
