They didn’t……they did? Whaaaat
It’s Good. Pretty decent series. I don’t normally get into this genre, but this was exciting and worth the read or listen, however you like it. Enjoy!
Disappointed
Two primary issues with this book are the narrator and the narrative flow.
The first three books featured a distinct narrator, allowing readers to develop familiarity with the character voices. However, this book abruptly introduces a new narrator, disrupting the established tone. While I understand the need for changes, it would have been more effective to select a narrator whose voice closely resembles the previous one. The narrator in this book has an accent and fails to effectively convey the characters’ emotions, creating a jarring disconnect.
The narrative suffers from a lack of coherence. The first three books exhibited a smooth flow and logical progression of events. However, this book deviates significantly, resulting in a disjointed and confusing narrative. I refrain from providing specific details to avoid spoiling the story, but the narrative lacks a clear structure and jumps abruptly, leaving readers uncertain about the sequence of events.
This disappointing conclusion to the series leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
Incredible!
What an incredible end to this series! I’m so happy it ended the way it did. Everything was just so epic and amazing not only in this last book, but all the book in this series… or all other series written by this author! The only thing I was slightly bummed about was that it was a different narrator than usual. I really liked the original narrator, but this one did well. Can’t wait to read more by this author!!!
