As good or better than the first three
Just read it, I almost didn’t. I feel the criticism of the 4th stormlight book is completely unwarranted, it’s a gripping and unique story just like the other three books. In some ways it’s even my favorite.
Good author, bad book.
Love the author, love the series, love the characters, love the narration... NOT a fan of this book. Every character goes through an existential crisis for the vast majority of this book. Several characters regress from where they were, only to see last minute growth in the final chapters.
So slow!!!!
I loved every other book in this series. I’ve been waiting for this to come out and man I’m disappointed. It doesn’t capture my attention like the previous books. It’s so long winded and boring that I will skim entire chapters just to find the action. I don’t need half a book about depression. Pathetic.
