A clever, quirky & rockin’ ride!
Think of this book as an alternate reality mix tape for the rock n’ roll horror fan. The well-chosen voice actors perfectly complemented each story, bringing out their unique characteristics. Some of my favorites included “Flying High Again,” told from the perspective of a bat who fears Ozzy Osbourne as his realm’s personal boogeyman; “Over the Hills and Far Away,” which takes its time traveling main character through various LED Zeppelin multiverses; “Armageddon It,” a blood-soaked romp courtesy of Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen’s homicidal arm; and “KISS Face-Off,” written in the style of a Teen Beat throwback mag with a fun twist. Every story is a certified banger and so well written that you’ll find yourself venturing down the ol’ internet rabbit hole to confirm whether or not these imaginative tales contain any granules of truth. Great read!
