Beautiful second chance m/m romance
Roped Tight is a second chance m/m romance and part of the Ryker Ranch series by Kim Loraine.
I have loved this entire series. Sam Ryker and Tucker Weston fell hard for each other 10 years ago. But a combination of factors kept them from letting their relationship build. Sam left the ranch and didn’t look back.
Now, circumstances bring Sam back to the ranch and the wounds that never healed from their broken relationship come to the surface.
In addition to to the intense chemistry they have, Sam and Tucker are soul mates. The question is can they both right past wrongs and give themselves a real shot at happiness.
As in the previous books in the series, the sense of family is a prominent theme. I loved the scenes with the various Ryker family members together, especially Mama Ryker.
Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton did a beautiful job narrating this story. They bring so much emotion to their performances and you feel it all. The pain, the longing, and the love are all palpable. Stella was terrific voicing all of the female characters, Mama Ryker in particular.
Each time I have finished a book in the Ryker Ranch series I have said it’s my favorite. Sam and Tucker’s story is so special. I felt emotionally invested in them getting their happily ever after.
