Quite Corny, but Decent...

I decided to buy this inexpensive audiobook after my success with other "learn to speak" audiobooks that use music to help with memorization. This one combine songs that are, admittedly, extremely corny, but are a unique way to remember a bit more than just the basics.

With lessons about time, colors, clothing, and food (to name a few), it's a little simple for an intermediate learner, but it's a good lesson for an early beginner. Like most audiobook lessons, it doesn't come with a book file, which would be helpful in learning a new language; something I'd love to see ITunes start providing. Basically, the format begins with a scenario, an overview of words, and then a corny song to tie them all together.

So overall, if you can get past the extreme corniness of the scenarios & songs without cracking up TOO much, and just "go with the flow," you've got a fairly enjoyable German lesson!
