Publisher Description
Of all the Legiones Astartes, the White Scars of Jaghatai Khan remain the most enigmatic and elusive. Born of a civilisation that prizes honour, speed and fearsome loyalty, their allegiance has yet remained unclear even as the galaxy is torn apart by Horus' treachery, and both sides have apparently counted them among their potential allies in the war to come.
But when the Alpha Legion launch an unexplained and simultaneous attack against the White Scars and Space Wolves, the Khan must decide once and for all whether he will stand with the Emperor or the Warmaster...or neither.

Heresy comes for the Scars
Jaghatai has become my favorite primarch. His book, Warhawk, was awesome and I jumped right into Scars. Shiban and the chief librarian are examples of loyalty and friendship to the khan and the legion. Great book.
Best before the narration change
The book was great and when the audio book was read by Jonathan Keeble it was amazing. His voice gave the Khan nobility and made him aound powerful. His voices for the woman in the book was somewhat odd but it grew on me so didnt mind. When the fighting began his tone made the reader feel the tension and the excitment from what you were hearing. I would rewind again and again to hear my favorite parts. Now the rerecorded version sounds dull and doesnt get you as excited as the previous narrator. This narrator is better off reading a romance novel where his smooth and sensual style wood be better appreciated. Also for some reason all the white scars are now stereotypical japanese people trying to speak english.
