I have loved following these hockey guys. They are so swoon worthy, and Miller? Heโs my favorite! I adored him. I loved how he was with Scout and I fell so hard for him! ๐๐๐ ๐ฟ๐๐๐๐ did an absolutely incredible job at narrating and bringing Miller and his true heart to life!
Scout. Letโs talk about her for a minute. I loved herโฆโฆand I disliked her. How? Well, I wanted to smack her a time or two throughout and yell at her to โwake up and SEE Millerโฆโฆ.like ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ฎ see him!โ. But, I totally get why she had to be the way she was. Because when she ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ก๐ฎ acceptedโฆ..well letโs just say that the fireworks imploded at the end of ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ scoring hockey match! And, ๐ข๐บ๐ ๐ ๐๐พ ๐ฃ๐บ๐ ๐๐๐ was supreme in her portrayal of Scout! I felt all the emotions, all the fun, with her narrating!
This is an audiobook you do not want to miss! Itโs a perfect addition to the ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ฌ series and one I will be returning to again! Once again, ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐ weaves us an incredibly addictive, spicy, banter filled romcom in her trademark fashion! Canโt wait for the next book!

This is part of the Carolina Comets series but can be read as a stand-alone. If you havenโt read the other you should because they are very good and fun.
The first impression of Miller would be the irritating little brother or socially inept friend. However, he comes into his own in his story.
He is cute, funny, sweet and a virgin at 24.
He is no hurry to correct it. He wants to be with someone who matters.
Scout had a secret crush on Miller who comes to her donut truck religiously. When he failed to remember her, her feelings are hurt. She is protective of her feelings and makes him grovel a bit to make it up to her.
The story is cute, romantic and fun. Miller stepped it up in this story to get his one and only.
Canโt wait for the next one. Bound to be a good one,

Scoring Chance is the 5th book in the Carolina Comets Series but can totally be read as a standalone. This hockey romance was sweet, sexy, sassy, funny, full of banter between Miller and Scout.
Scout has been secretly crushing on Miller for two years. But, what happens when she pretends to be his date for a gala? We watch them go in this journey to find themselves, also let their guards down, and possibly find love. Loved the banter they had and the text messages. Ohhh weee. Both have trust issues and insecurities due to the past and that will come to bite them in the butt. Oh the plot twist, she self sabotages the relationship and he feels used. I do love how hard Scout works to right her wrongs, and how they work everything out. Nothing like a good book to being the person you love back to you. Great quick read. Great in audiobook also. Tim Paige and Callie Dalton did a great job with characterizations and kept me engaged.
