Seaside Dreams: Seaside Summers, Book 1 (Unabridged‪)‬

I listened to the audiobook as well as read the kindle edition of this great story.

Bella Abbascia returns to her Seaside Cottage on Cape Cod where she spends her summers with her besties, but this year is decidedly different for Bella. Bella is seriously considering moving to Wellfleet, MA, selling her house in CT and leaving her teaching position behind to pursue a new life in a place she loves without the hassle of factoring in a man in her decision.

A born prankster, she meets police officer Caden Grant while on patrol and investigates the Seaside girls’ prank gone wrong. The attraction between them is instant even while the scene is hilarious.

Caden is a single father to fourteen-year old Evan and new to the area after transferring from Boston following the death of his partner. Caden is a wonderful father, hot as sin, who has devoted himself to Evan and between taking care of him and work, never looked for more for himself. But things are about to change after meeting sweet and sexy Bella.

Starting over is never easy and both have much to consider and much to lose, but Caden and Bella are drawn together and a beautiful romance begins. All is going well until Evan gets into trouble causing Caden to think he must choose between Evan and Bella.

Can Caden find a solution where he can have both Bella and Evan in his life? Will Bella be able to trust her heart and make the right decision for her?

Heartache ensues for all. There are many poignant moments, real-life issues as well as plenty of heat in this beautifully woven tale that Melissa Foster spins.

Once again B.J. Harrison does a fabulous job of narrating, having that unique ability to pull you in and let you lose yourself in the story.

Oh the hijinks. Those seaside girls, especially Bella, are up to no good. Then along comes Officer Caden. His need to follow the law and her need to have fun don't always agree, but they manage to make it work. Bella seems to relate to his son. His need to fit in being the new kid in town, yet knowing that what the others are doing is wrong is a quandry that he needs to figure out. Bella recognizes that something is bothering him. He seems a little more open with her than with his father. And when the worst happens and puts him in a bad position, Caden decides it's time to focus more on him instead of Bella. Yet it doesn't seem to help matters. Will these two figure things out and become a happy family, or will they go their separate ways?

BJ Harrison has become a standard listen for me. His voice is smooth and he manages such a variety of emotions well.

Seaside Dreams is a funny and romantic story from Melissa Foster that focuses on Bella and her instant attraction to hot police officer Caden Grant, who meets her while she is in an unusual and compromising position. Bella is a school teacher from Connecticut and she is making major life changes that don't include a relationship. Caden is a single father with a teenage son and all of the typical teenage challenges. There are definitely sexy times between Caden and Bella. The entire Seaside gang is featured in this great story and I loved the variety of voices B.J. Harrison uses throughout his narration. Kudos to Melissa Foster for this top notch story.
