Love Second Shot!
Second Shot is a lovely emotion filled story about family, forgiveness and second chances. Brynne is a strong, stubborn and determined woman. Angry and hurting from the loss of the one person she loved most in the world Brynne ends up in Kane's arms. That one night changes their lives forever. Struggling with her mixed emotions Brynne disappears determined to make a life of her own.
Chance has her running into Kane when she least expects it.
Finding out that he's a father has Kane determined to prove to Brynne that he's a man worthy of her love & trust and that he will be an amazing father.
I think Second Shot is my new favorite of CM Seabrook's. It is a great addition to her written work. I can't wait to listen to her next book.
Evelyn Marcail did a decent job of narrating this book. Her performance is well paced and her voices are easily distinguishable between characters. I was quickly drawn in and found myself lost in Brynne and Kane’s story.
