Couldn’t put it down
This is a horrific story. So many times I just kept wishing she could find the courage to reach out for help when she had the chance, but sadly she was treated so terribly her whole life that I just don’t think she truly understood how much better she deserved. Most people would have the hope of escaping & going home one day, but Anna didn’t have a home. No one wanted her. The monster that took her & his family weren’t the first to physically & sexually victimize her. Thank God she found the courage to escape before it was too late. I just pray that now that she finally has the happy life she deserves, she will find the courage to bring those horrible people to justice, before they victimize more innocent children.
