Townsfolk called him the devil. For dark and enigmatic Julian, Earl of Ravenwood, was a man with a legendary temper and a first wife whose mysterious death would not be forgotten. Now country-bred Sophy Dorring was about to become Ravenwood's new bride.
Drawn to the glitters of desire that burned in his emerald eyes, Sophy had her own reasons for agreeing to a marriage of convenience. One was vengeance, and in it's pursuit she would entangle Julian in a dangerous masquerade. The other reason was dearer to her heart but just as wild a quest: Sophy Dorring intended to teach the devil to love again.

I am thrilled to have one of Amanda Quick,s earliest books in my audiobook collection. It is a delight to listen to the antics and humor of her earlier heroines. Hopefully all of her earlier Historical Romance novels make it to itune's audiobook selections. I highly recommend this book to all Historical Romance fans.
I loved this historical romance... Ms. Quick's book made me laugh, cry and I was on the end of my seat until the end.
