Publisher Description

In SEE HER RUN (A Mia North FBI Suspense Thriller—Book One), Special Agent Mia North is a rising star in the FBI—until, in an elaborate setup, she’s framed for murder and sentenced to prison. When a lucky break allows her to escape, Mia finds herself a fugitive, on the run and on the wrong side of the law for the first time in her life. She can’t see her young daughter—and she has no hope of returning to her former life.
The only way to get her life back, she realizes, is to hunt down whoever framed her.
A diabolical killer that Mia once put behind bars is freed on parole. He taunts her while she’s in prison, now on the other side of the Visitor glass, and boasts of a murder he is about to commit. Mia, locked in jail, will be helpless to stop it.
With time running out, Mia must use her sharpest instincts to escape, evade the law, and stop him before he claims his next victim. Can she hunt down the killer and save the victim—and herself?
Will she find herself back in jail?
Or worse—at the mercy of a killer, without any backup?
An action-packed page-turner, the MIA NORTH series is a riveting crime thriller, jammed with suspense, surprises, and twists and turns that you won’t see coming. Fall in love with this brilliant new female protagonist and you’ll be turning pages late into the night.
Books #2 and #3 in the series—SEE HER HIDE and SEE HER SCREAM—are now also available.

Gripping storyline
The writing, as usual, is what I’ve come to expect from this author. Just fantastic! This could easily be a movie! There are a few things that are quite annoying like agent Mia North never stating obvious facts, facts that could help her. Facts that it just doesn’t make sense to not verbalize. But it doesn’t take away from the storyline. The narrator however, is a different story. She lacks excitement and character versatility. Lines that should be read with excitement are read in monotone. It’s almost as though we got the practice round. Lots of repeated words. But again, the storyline is so enticing that you can look past that. Looking forward to book 2, hopefully with a new narrator.
Was good until the audio stopped playing
This audiobook was great even with the minor audio mistakes from the reader until the audio went out in chapter 22. It came back on chapter 23. Missed a whole section of chapter 22. Finished listening anyway.
Good so far except for the narrator
I’m liking the book so far, but can’t stand the mini pauses and repeats from this narrator. Maybe it’s just me, but she seems to have something against the letter “G” because she rarely enunciates it unless the word starts with it. For example, banging is pronounced as baning. There are some other weird pronunciations throughout too. I swear I also hear what I think is her swallowing in between reading too. This book needs a different narrator.
