Publisher Description
Georgette Adams is trouble incarnate. Spoiled, sassy, smart . . . and the President's only daughter.
Getting summoned to a meeting at the White House felt like an honor—until I caught the catch. I'm the newest member of her security detail. Not only for this summer in DC, but once she leaves for Stanford in the fall as well. Her safety is my responsibility.
Trouble is, the only place Georgie respects any rules is on the tennis court.
Our priorities clash and our personalities conflict, yet somehow—the more time we spend together, the less it feels like work.
But my job description doesn't include making her laugh or enjoying our conversations. And it definitely doesn't involve broken rules or blurred lines.
My only job?
Is to serve.

Good story
Serve is a protector, athlete romance. This was my first book by this author.
I enjoyed Georgie and Ethan’s love story. It was a good slow burn with mild drama, great chemistry and their sexual tension was palpable.
Tim Paige did a nice job portraying Ethan. I enjoyed Lucy Rivers narrating for Georgie, but was not a fan of her male narration.
Enjoyed it!!
𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 is a Grumpy/sunshine, bodyguard romance by C.W. Farnsworth with a First Family twist. Georgette Adams is the President’s daughter, and a newly-minted high school graduate on her way to Stanford on a tennis scholarship. She is furious when she finds out her father assigns her a new Secret Service to shadow her at school. What happens when the constant personality clashes, antics, and bickering leads to an undeniable and strictly forbidden attraction? Read or listen to find out!
This is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last! I enjoyed the premise of the story, and the fact that the focus was on the relationship between Georgie and Ethan. I’ll admit that I was surprised there was no suspense element with her being the President’s daughter, but ultimately, it wasn’t needed. They generated plenty of angst and drama with their will-they-or-won’t-they tension!🥵😂 The sassy and feisty banter that they brought was entertaining as well. I loved the dynamics between them and the way they evolved from enemies to more. The little twists and adventures that through them together were lots of fun. I did get frustrated at times with both characters when their stubbornness would get in the way.😆 I had to remind myself at times that they were only 18 and 23. The way it resolved was not what I expected, but I liked it. I look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.
I listed to the audio narrated by Lucy Rivers & Tim Paige and enjoyed their performances for the most part. There were times when the narration almost felt a bit stilted, especially when Ms. Rivers was acting out the male part. They still did a great job conveying all that spicy tension and it was an enjoyable experience.
