Shadow Beast (Unabridged‪)‬

Something is hunting in the Highlands. And it has never known fear.

Deep in the Scottish Highlands, something extraordinary – and terrifying – has made the ancient forests its hunting ground. When a pattern of savage, unexplained kills begins to emerge across the glens, wildlife conservationist Thomas Walker finds himself drawn into a mystery that defies everything he knows about predators, nature, and survival.

A creature unlike anything catalogued by science is out there: intelligent, adaptive, and deadly. As the body count rises and the Highland community begins to fracture under fear, Thomas must draw on every skill he possesses – hunter, tracker, naturalist–to confront a beast that should not exist.

Rooted in real zoological science and set against the spectacular, brooding landscape of the Scottish Highlands, Shadow Beast is a white-knuckle thriller that asks what we still do not know about the natural world–and what it might do if we get too close.
