works great for me
@ benjerminz--just downloaded it and it works great. They must have had a problem with your individual download.
Profound and Painful
Endo's writing is outstanding and the narration for this audiobook is solid. I cared about the characters and they were all very human. None of Endo's characters are simple; they are all flawed, and they are difficult to just like or just hate. If you are on a spiritual journey, you will be able to relate to the "silence" endured by the main character. If you are not on a spiritual journey, this is still an excellent piece of literature; and it may open you up and give you the patience and stamina necessary for an authentic openness to God. But you must already possess some patience to tackle this book. It's not a "page turner," it should be savored, not devoured.

The book gets 3 minutes in and stops reading yet continues to play. Waste of $12 if you ask me. I'm sure if it wasn't broken it would be better however I'm very disappointed! :-(
