Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I’d pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch’s heart grow three times its size.
It isn’t long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That’s when the Christmas miracle begins.

Grumpy meets Sunshine!
When it starts with a blind date, it can either end well or be an unfortunate situation. For Kenzie, it was an epic disaster. Her prior commitment ran overtime, she shows up to her date in costume, and it turns out her date is her brother’s friend Andrew. The clash from the get-go. But then Andrew needs to make a good impression at work and asks Kenzie to step in as event coordinator for their holiday party. This became Kenzie’s opportunity to turn this grumpy holiday hater into a believer. The more time they spent together, the harder it became to resist the attraction and chemistry that kept drawing them to each other. CJ Bloom and John Lane voiced Kenzie and Andrew so perfectly. Their talented voices fully embodied the characters’ personalities. A perfect read and/or listen to get you into the Christmas spirit.

CJ Bloom is Kenzie, and as always, she brings it all to the table. Her spunky personality is forefront, and I love how she brings the joy into Andrew! John Lane is fabulous with his British accent as Andrew. Stuffy and rude, he is perfect. Their duet narration brings a cast of characters together, each a specific voice fitting their characters and making the story come alive. I enjoyed this performance!

This was such a fun and sweet romcom! I was hooked from page one and couldn’t stop listening. Kenzie is absolutely adorable and I just knew grumpy Andrew was gonna fall hard.
The narration on this book was fantastic! I love duet style narration and I really felt like the actors were having as much fun as I was! I highly recommend this audiobook!
