Publisher Description
I’m not a good man, and I’ve never pretended to be. I don’t believe in goodness or God or any happy ending that isn’t paid for in advance.
What do I believe in? Money. Sex. Macallan 18.
They have words for men like me—playboy. Womanizer. Skirt chaser.
My brother used to be a priest, and he only has one word for me.
Sinner.
***Sinner is a standalone companion to Priest about Father Bell's brother Sean. You do not have to read Priest or Midnight Mass to read Sinner***
Customer Reviews
Unexpectedly, devastatingly Good!
I didn’t think I would like this his more than Priest but I did! And I was absolutely gutted more than once. What an emotional rollercoaster—but a good one. So so good.
Another great book
I love how this series forces readers to confront their beliefs as it relates to morality, spirituality, and intimacy. For me, the crazy age gap, familial history, and the blatant grooming of the FL continued to challenge my personal moral compass. Of course, the dynamics made for a hot read, but also felt morally corrupt at times. I was surprised to find myself cheering for Sean. But I must admit, the epilogue was a bit of a disappointment for me. I’m unable to understand why the author chose to take readers merely one year in the future when the same outcome could take place 2,4, or even 6 years down the line. But if I had to guess, maybe the epilogue was the authors way of reminding us of the depravity within the Bell brothers. He did always say, “I am not a good man.” Overall, great read. 4.5/5
*side bar, I saw a couple comments offended by the mere mention of micro-aggressions and/or race (in an interracial love story nonetheless). But if you’re hesitating just know, that moment is less than 1% of the entire plot. Also, the MC talking through the experience and his realizations surrounding it are vital to the story. Let’s not forget, his love interest is a young black woman in America. Therefore, his empathy would prove necessary if he plans to love her authentically and safely.
Amazing
 I just love this collection
