Not just a “Dogen pony show”
This is a really well written deep dive into Zen and the wonderful world of Dogens’ Shobogenzo. Plain English explanations without complicating matters with skull vomiting.
Having been in a punk band in a small town scene made this a great read and a familiar feel for me. Well done, off to Hardcore Zen next!
