Finally discovered this lesfic author
I guess I’m a little late to the party where Lee Winter is concerned and in order to read this book I discovered it best to read all the other books it involved. All of them were so intense and good. The follow ups on Requiem in Requiem for Immortals were excellent. In fact, ALL the stories were excellent. Requiem is just as intense as Cain Casey (The Devil series from Ali Vali), but, her humor is more dry and seemingly deadly. Think of a more mature Villanelle (Killing Eve) and you might be more close. I especially enjoyed the delay at the airport where 4 of the “villains” from all the stories came together by circumstance written from Natalya/Requiem’s POV. It was deliciously imaginative, funny and dark. I would recommend reading them all first, then reading this one!
