Only in Florida: An eastern diamondback rattlesnake appears in the middle of a crowded downtown nightclub, sending one victim to the emergency room. Maddy Finnegan, single mother and Orlando Police detective, is tasked with figuring out the crime. Days later, the stakes escalate to murder, after several western diamondbacks show up in a local synagogue, one sinking its fangs into the neck of a young worshipper.

Finnegan and a team of investigators are assigned to find and stop the Snake Charmer, a sociopath with unlimited resources, before he can carry out his plan to unleash nearly two-dozen of the world’s most venomous species, such as mambas and cobras in the middle of one of the nation’s busiest, biggest theme parks.
